In this project, I had the pleasure of bringing to life a richly layered brand-identity for Biscoitos Tapioca, a heritage biscuit-maker founded in Bahia in 1989, rooted in family traditions yet looking ahead with a bold modern vision. As the illustrator on the team, I crafted bespoke visuals that reference the warmth of coastal Brazil, the craftsmanship of generational heritage, and the playful spirit of artisanal treats. My illustrations meld organic textures, folkloric motifs and vibrant colours to convey both authenticity and approachability. By weaving tradition with contemporary design, I helped anchor the brand’s visual language in the past while projecting it into a refreshed future, making the biscuits not just taste like nostalgia, but look like it too.
